Nicki Minaj Tells Jay-Z She Will Rival His Hip-Hop Empire

Nicki Minaj has told Jay-Z that she is "coming for his spot" in a bid to rival his ever-growing hip-hop empire. Jay has managed to forge himself a successful business career delving into clothing, basketball, clubs and even movies, in addition to his Roc Nation label. 


With Nicki fast becoming one of the hottest rappers ever, she hopes to not only match his success, but exceed it. "I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria's Secret fashion show," she told Allure magazine. "He said, 'Congratulations on all your success.' 


And I was like, 'Yeah, I'm coming for you. I'm coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul.'" Nicki recently said that she feels she "doesn't need to prove anything to anyone" anymore in light of all her success.
