Jay-Z has added a new arm to his ever-expanding business portofolio, launching a Facebook game called Empire.
The Brooklyn legend has followed in the footsteps of fellow rap mogul 50 Cent by lending his name and image to a video game project which is sure to be wildly successful simply by association.
An official press release on the game reads: "Empire takes you on a journey from the streets of Marcy Housing in Brooklyn to the hotspots of the rich and famous: from hustler, to entrepreneur, to business mogul."
"But don’t forget friends and family, or your karma will suffer."
In other words, this is as close to playing Jay-Z: The Video Game as we're going to get.
