The fallout from Nicki Minaj's Summer Jam no-show rumbled on earlier this week after Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg responded to threats of violence from Nicki's hypeman/sidepiece Scaff Beezy.
Immediately after Young Money boss Lil Wayne had announced Minaj was pulling out of the concert due to Rosenberg describing her single 'Starships' as 'bullsh*t', Beezy hit Twitter with that fighting talk:
"YOOO PETER ROSENBURG WHEN I COME TO SUMMA JAM YOU GETTING PUNCHED IN YA F**KING FACE U F**KING PUSSY!!!!!!! I PROMISE U N*GGA!!!!!"
However, on his Hot 97 show Rosenberg accepted the offer - but warned he'd also be bringing his lawyers.
"Nicki's boyfriend went on Twitter and said he was gonna punch me in the face because I don't like a pop dance song that his girlfriend made. Word homie? That's your favorite song? Is that your favorite song? A girly a** dance pop song?," said the DJ.
"'ll tell you what Nicki's boyfriend, you want to punch me in the face because I don't like pop dance songs? Please go right ahead. Yeah, and make that check payable to Peter E. Rosenberg. I got you! I got you! [You gonna sue?] Absolutely!"
