Universal Music Announces “Respect The Classics”

Forget to cop Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ when it dropped? The Slim Shady LP? It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot? Don’t worry, you have another chance. Universal Music has just announced a new campaign to allow you to do just that.

Respect The Classics will begin October 22nd and marks the beginning of another opportunity to grab a copy of some of your favorite hip-hop classics.

DMX’s It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot will be re-mastered and re-released on October 22nd and will be followed up by a handful of other albums from Tupac, Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and more.

50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ will receive a special 10-year anniversary platinum vinyl edition for you to purchase. Universal’s goal through all of this is to “spotlight iconic, genre-defining albums”.
