Ok so artist “borrow” from eachother all the time RIGHT?…paying homage is one thing..but apparently in an article reporter Samedi stated that Belgians are NOT happy and are not buying these replicated shenanigans. The routine and imagery for “Countdown” was created for a Belgian 1984 broadcast entitled “Rosa and the Rosas” originally choregraphed by Anne Terese De Keersmaeker. (check the video below)
There’s been much debate since the ‘Countdown’ video released but it seems King Bey is in hot water once again… lets see how this unfolds.
As much as we all love Beyonce it wouldn’t hurt to see some TRUE original creativism in her work. Although she’s a great performer I’m not sure if I can quite categorize her with great legends like MJ just yet.
