Model Jessica Gomes has finally revealed the story behind her infamous 'M-M-Maybach Music' drop - and says she hasn't seen a dollar in royalties from any of the MMG crew.
The Australian beauty says her hook-up with Rozay came via Jay-Z in 2008 and the drop is part of an extended clip from the track Maybach Music.
"It was another girl talking and then she says, 'What is this?' and I say 'It's Maybach music' and then we both say 'I like this Maybach music.'
And we both go 'Sweet,"she explained to Global Grind.
"We were just hanging out with friends in the studio and then it just happened. We got behind the mic, started talking and that was it, really. They decided to put it in their song and nothing came about.
But now everyone's using my part where I say 'Maybach Music.'"
As well-known as the vocal sample is, Gomes hasn't received any cash for her services being used on well over 50 tracks. "I need to be getting paid for these songs," she added.
Jessica was uncovered as the face behind the voice last week, confirming rumours by tweeting a teasing, "Maybach Music. Ha."
Surprisingly, the 26-year-old hasn't even spoken to Rick Ross about her role on some of MMG's biggest hits.
