Rihanna has been named the highest selling digital artist in US chart history beating the Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Lil’ Wayne and Beyoncé to the top spot. The 23-year-old has sold more digital tracks than any other artist with a current total of 47,571,000.
Her overall tally doesn’t include the sales of numerous tracks the Bajan princess has featured in, however the Black Eyed Peas still holds the pole position for the bestselling digital track to date with ‘I Gotta Feeling.
’According to the RIAA, her latest album Talk That Talk has just been certified Gold in the US after selling over 500,000 units on December 16.
Meanwhile music producer The-Dream, the man behind Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ and Justin Bieber’s 'Baby' has revealed on radio with Tim Westwood that he made $15 Million for writing RiRi’s breakout hit ‘Umbrella.’
