Elephant Man Denies Sexual Assault Claims


Dancehall star Elephant Man has spoken publically for the first time about the sexual assualt charges against him, and has denied the accusations. 

The 'Jook Gal' singer was arrested on Monday on suspicion of rape following a report filed by a woman who claimed he had assualted her at his home in St. Andrew. Elephant - real name Oneil Bryan - was subsequently but has now been released on bail of 400,000 Jamaican dollars.

Upon his release from police custody, a video obtained by IBTimes.co.uk shows Elephant speaking to the media outside the courthouse where he declared his innocence and hopes that the incident will not affect his career. He is due to appear in court on May 21 for a preliminary hearing.
