Andre 3000 Set To Play Jimi Hendrix In Hollywood Biopic

Andre 3000 looks set to play lengendary rock star Jimi Hendrix in new Hollywood biopic 'All Is By My Side.'

According to ITFN, the Outkast rapper will play Hendrix, covering the period of his life spent in England from 1966 to 1967, when he produced the album 'Are You Experienced?'

Filming is set to begin in three weeks time in Dublin and will be directed by John Ridley, who produced Three Kings and U-Turn.

According to reports, the plot will unfold from when Hendrix was discovred in a club in New York by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richard and his girlfriend at the time, Linda Keith.

Keith is credited for introducing the rock star to manager Chas Chandler, who brought him to record 'Are You Experienced?' and the rest is history.
