It is time once again for the list you love to hate. MTV return with the this year’s edition of their Hottest MCs In The Game, where they countdown who they think are best 10 of last year. The MCs are chosen based on impact, sales, buzz, styleand more.

 #6 Big Sean

Detroit’s very own Big Sean manages to grab the #6 spot on MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game list, beating out his own boss Kanye West. Sean had a very successful year, releasing his critically acclaimed mixtape “Detroit” and inking a deal with Adidas. He was present on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album “Cruel Summer” and held his own on the successful singles ‘Mercy’ and ‘Clique’. Do you think he deserves to be #6?

#7 Kanye West

The #7 spot MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game list goes to the G.O.O.D. Music leader Kanye West. While he didn’t release a solo album this year, Mr. West managed to remain relevant throughout the year. He toured with Jay-Z to promote their “Watch The Throne”, released the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, jumped on a few remixes and even got involved in a high profile relationship with Kim Kardashian. Do you think he deserves to be #7?

 #8 ASAP Rocky

Holding down the #8 spot on this year’s Hottest MCs In The Game list is the Harlem upstart ASAP Rocky. His buzz has been growing all year, leading to the release of his debut album “LongLiveASAP” in January. He kept busy by dropping the ASAP Mob mixtape “Lords Never Worry”, appearing in Lana Del Rey’s ‘JFK’ video, infamously grabbing Rihanna’s butt at the MTV VMA’s during their performance. He also saw some chart success with his hit single ‘Fucking Problems’ featuring Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. Do you think he deserves to be #8?
