Jeezy Arrested For Alleged Battery Of His Son

Jeezy was arrested for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats, over an alleged fight with his son.

Jeezy was reportedly arrested Friday for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats. The charges stem from an alleged incident in 2012 in which Jeezy got into a physical altercation with his son.

Apparently the ATL rapper and his son got into a fight in a bathroom, which resulted in Jeezy throwing his kid through a glass shower door, and caused him to hit his head. 

Jeezy then apparently punched him in the face, before dragging him into a bedroom and further beating him on a bed. According to documents, the rapper then threatened his son, saying, "I will kill you," while choking the boy. 

He continued his threats later on, exclaiming, "I will put a bullet in your head right now... If I could get away with it, I would kill you." Jeezy is reported to have turned himself in following a warrant being issued for the charges. 

He was released shortly thereafter on $45,000 bond. The rapper's attorney is confident that the issues will be resolved. "We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately," he told TMZ. "At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."
