Do you really know Kim Dotcom? Following the raid of Megaupload, he’s still in his New Zealand mansion under house arrest, fighting for the future of Internet rights. VICE took a trip to his massive compound in Auckland, where he has the MEGA logo on the front, golf carts just to get around and even a giraffe on the lawn as a pet. While there, Kim talked about his experience in the large raid, where two helicopters and around 72 people invaded his home, to arrest him. He is now in the eye of history’s largest copyright case, fighting for his own freedom and trying to expose the United States government and NSA for their unconstitutional tactics.
