Jhene Aiko Signs To Def Jam

Jhene Aiko is taken! That’s right, in a huge surprise for the Christmas season – Jhene Aiko has signed a deal with Def Jam Records thanks to No I.D., and now she’s a major artist. While you may recognize her from the old B2K/TUG days, her claim to fame really came in 2011 with the release of her mixtape sailing soul(s), which is one of our favorite projects of the year. Congratulations Ms. Aiko, hopefully we’ll hear much more of you in 2012.
