Tyga has addressed rumours of a beef with Jay-Z and says that while they are on good terms at the moment, he would not hesitate in backing Young Money if they went to war.
The rapper was alleged to have had a feud with Jay who fired shots at the Young Money camp on H.A.M. with the line: "I'm like, 'Really, half-a-billi?' Nigga, really, you got Baby money/ Keep it real with niggas, niggas ain't got my lady money," in reference to Birdman/Baby.
Tyga was sitting near Jay-Z at the MTV VMAs earlier this year and he joked on Twitter that they were beefing. Setting the record straight, Tyga told Shade 45's Sway In The Morning: "I think what I said was Birdman’s sitting next to me and Jay-Z’s right here. Birdman’s talking about baby money. I thought it was funny."
"But like nobody said nothing. I remember I left
and nobody said anything to anybody. Kanye said what up to me, Big Sean
said what up, Kid CuDi said what up. But nobody else said anything," he
added.
Tyga said that he would be "right there" if YMCMB
ever went to war with Roc Nation, saying: "I’m a fan of everybody. I
just thought it was funny because you don’t see stuff like that. That
doesn’t happen like that."
