After stepping out in London looking paler than ever before, some critics have suggested Rihanna may have been lightening her skin.
The 24-year-old attended a number of promotional shoots for her upcoming action movie Battleship this week, with the Daily Mailnoticing her complexion being a few shades lighter than in the past.
Similar accusations were leveled at Beyonce in 2008 after a L'Oreal ad campaign photo showed the singer with almost white skin. Bey faced further claims last year when she looked much paler than usual in promotional shots ahead of her newest album 4.
