The Tanning of America Part 3 & 4

Continuing its four-night run, Vh1 aired the third episode of the book-turned-documentary The Tanning of America: How Hip-Hop Created a Culture That Rewrote the New Rules of the Economy, which chronicles the movement of hip-hop culture into the mainstream.
In the final part of VH1's docu-series, the topics spotlighted are the introduction of Eminem, rise of "hip hop empires" such as Sean John, Rocawear, and Beats By Dre, the political movement including the election of President Obama and Hurricane Katrina, and more.
