Getting high accolades for doing it on his own, indie rapper Mac Miller has been listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. The Pittsburgh based emcee is the first independent rapper who has topped the charts with a debut album. The sky is truly the limit for this 19 year old who sat down with Forbes Magazine to give some insight into his journey to achieve this status.
In the interview with Forbes, Miller describes his style as A Tribe Called Quest meets the doors and he can say what he wants taking the honor of being the first indie rapper and overall indie act in over a decade to have released a number one album. He keeps his humility in the piece and knows that his future will be laden with hard work to reach the heights he desires.
