Trayvon was gunned down in February after getting into an altercation with neighbourhood watchman George Zimmerman. The 17-year-old's tragic death has sparked outrage across the African-American community and several celebrities have joined the race to seek justice for the youngster.
"I don’t think he thought his life would ever become this legacy, so I’m just looking for justice," he told BET's 106 & Park. Nas also praised the new generation of rappers, saying that they have saved hip-hop. "Incredible. I love it," he admitted. "They brought it back. Like you can’t listen to Meek Mill and not go, ‘Wow, it’s crazy."
