Akon Tags WizKid, P-Square & 2face As Konvict Music Representatives

Akon has continued the trend that was started by Kanye West by signing some of the most talented bunch of artists on the Nigerian scene.

Yesterday Akon officially  announced WizKid, 2face and Africa’s dynamic duo p-Square as Konvict Music representatives in Nigeria.

The announcement took place at Jay Jay Okocha’s night spot Club 10 along with the revelation of Citron, an energy drink.

Akon also tweeted “In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa with@2faceidibia and @wizkidayo big up to P-square”

2face back in june revealed that he was working with Akon on some new music material and a few months ago a snipper of the Don’t Dull remix with WizKid & Akon was leaked online. This is great news for all these artists, and we certainly wish them the best.
