John Legend Defends Kanye West Over Barack Obama 'Jackass' Comment

John Legend has defended Kanye West over comments made by President Barack Obama who labelled the rapper a "jackass."

The singer made an appearance on BET's 106 & Park to promote his soundtrack single for new rom-com Think Like A Man. John, a G.O.O.D. Music signee, was asked his thoughts on Barack's comments.

"Kanye is my friend and he’s never treated me like a jackass," John said. "He’s one of the most talented artists we know in this generation and I feel very fortunate to be able to work with him."

While Barack too admitted that Kanye was "talented," he said he was "still a jackass."

Kanye is one of the greatest hip-hop artists in recent times, but he has done some questionable behaviour recently.
