MTV's Hottest MC's In The Game 2013 List: #4 & #3

It is time once again for the list you love to hate. MTV return with the this year’s edition of their Hottest MCs In The Game, where they countdown who they think are best 10 of last year. The MCs are chosen based on impact, sales, buzz, styleand more.

#3: Rick Ross
Last year’s #1, Rick Ross, drops two spots and lands the #3 spot on MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game list. In 2012, Rozay gave us two mixtape Rich Forever, The Black Bar Mitzvah, a solo album God Forgives I Dont and the MMG compilation Self Made Vol 2. He expanded his MMG empire, toured the country and made numerous guest appearances. To top things off, he also moved his MMG label from Warner Bros to Atlantic and signed an endorsement deal with Reebok.

#04: Nas
After some backlash from Kanye West, ASAP Rocky and Danny Brown, MTV continue to reveal their Hottest MCs In The Game list. Coming in at #4 is legendary New York rapper Nas, which marks the first time he has made the list. In 2012, he released his critically acclaimed album Life is Good, which debuted at #1 and is now certified gold. He also made a special appearance at Hot 97′s Summer Jam and toured the country with Lauryn Hill.
