will.i.am & Britney Spears Team Up For New Album

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, will.i.am spoke about being named the executive producer for Britney Spears’ upcoming album.

The two began their collaborative relationship back in 2011 with the release of Femme Fatale. From there, will was involved in one of Spears’ biggest hits recently, “Scream & Shout.” Asked to take on the executive producer role, will instead insisted that he meet with Britney repeatedly for a month in order to build a chemistry and understood what motivated her to be a great artist.

As of now, the new album does not have a title or release date.
