As reported by the inimitable TMZ, it seems celebrated R&B singer-songwriter Toni Braxton has been forced to sell the rights to more than two dozen of her songs after filing for bankruptcy.
Braxton negotiated a deal in her bankruptcy case and settled with her multiple debtors. Part of the deal enabled her to buy back the rights to 27 songs from her catalog for $20,000, the only catch being she could be outbid. Unfortunately, she was. A certain Ross M. Klein doubled Toni's price and purchased all the music, including the hits "You're Making Me High", "How Many Ways" and "Always."
