Rihanna honored with AMA's Icon Award



Rihanna received the highest honor of the night during Sunday’s American Music Awards broadcast, earning the first-ever Icon Award for her impact on music and pop culture.
The singer has sold approximately 150 million records worldwide, in addition to notching twelve No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In just seven years, Rihanna released seven studio albums, one of which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Her latest hit, Eminem’s “The Monster” on which Rihanna features, rests at No. 2 on the Hot 100, vying to become RiRi’s thirteenth chart-topper, tying her with Michael Jackson.
