50 Cent 'Confused' By Child Poverty In Africa

50 Cent says that he is "confused" by the extent of child poverty in Africa and reveals he is using his experiences in the continent to inspire his new material.
The rapper has been touring the poverty-stricken countries in the continent for the last few weeks as part of his Street Kings initiative.
50 recently returned from visiting children in the continent earlier this month, with The World Food Programmed, and was given the chance to witness the effects of hunger first hand.
"I've put portions of my experience there in the actual songs, but it's so small that they'll have to listen to get it," he said. "I wanted to keep the record, creatively, in a space where when people listen to it, they just enjoy it before they can really understand what it was I'm saying; there's things on it that have double meanings."
Fiddy is also looking to get his celebrity friends involved too, and hopes that it will inspire young entrepreneurs to create a similar business ventures that will give back to others.
