R&B crooner Jeremih has denied he was bottled off stage last week because he was lip syncing, instead blaming the attack on a jealous boyfriend. The 'Birthday Sex' singer says he was pelted with bottles and drinks after the man's girlfriend took off her underwear and threw it onstage.
Jeremih was originally accused of miming at the show in Texas - which he also turned up late for - but denied allegations to TMZ, insisting: "I am way too talented to do that. I am not the type of artist that has no voice." The Chicago native put the misunderstanding down to his backing track being played unusually loud and promoters not providing him with the right equipment.
