Hit-Boy was responsible for many of Kanye and G.O.O.D music's recent hits. The producer was responsible for "Niggas In Paris", "Cold", "I Wish You Would", and "Clique", but was notably absent on Yeezus. Today Hit-Boy has cleared the air on the matter, stating that he is no longer with G.O.O.D. Music.
According to the producer, there are no hard feelings between him and Ye, but his focus is on his own team at the time being. “I got nothing but respect for Kanye, [but] I’m no longer a part of G.O.O.D. Music anymore.” he said. "HS87 is where my heart is, that’s what I’m reppin”.
Hit-Boy has apparently inked a deal with Gee Robertson's (of Hip Hop Since 1978) new Interscope/Geffen subsidiary "Blueprint".
Kid Cudi also parted ways with G.O.O.D. Music this year for similar reasons.
