The singer's representative confirmed that she has signed a new deal after a seven-year legal battle with her former label Background.
Although the singer has yet to confirm the news herself, she retweeted a number of comments made on Twitter, including: "Can't help but smile at all the love @JoJoistheway is getting. Her talent and following speaks higher than any label drama."
JoJo became the youngest solo act to top the US chart at 13 years-old with her debut single 'Leave (Get Out)'. She then went on to score two top five albums, the most recent of which was 'The High Road' in 2006.
As the star was unable to release music commercially, she put out two mixtapes in 2010 and 2012. JoJo is said to now be working on her third studio album.
